    Well, Wiggins it was! He's looking like he really means business this season. TM clearly still carrying a bit of winter weight and Richie Porte safely in 3rd for overall.

  1. 1st and 3rd. Not bad. Reckon Porte'll go into backup mode now. We'll have to see who rides Paris-Nice now. Lots of options for that race. Wiggins, Froome, Boasson Hagen, Porte.

    I think they will definitely be riding for Wiggins at Paris-Nice. It strikes me that Porte was the designated rider for this one precisely so that he wouldn't get annoyed at having to support Bradley later. I reckon they will push Porte (backed up by Lovkvist) for the Giro, and Wiggins and Froome for the Tour and Vuelta respectively.
  2. With Froome's ITT and climbing skills they ought to be backing him for Paris-Nice really. But Wiggins did look good today.
