newbie to the forum

Hi All,
Have just joined today, i am a leisure cyclist, have been cycing for for about 18 months now, to get fit, lose a bit of weight and also because i enjoy it. I live near richmond, North yorkshire, so have the dales at my disposal to cyle in. I have an aim to take part in the richmond dales sportive this year my first one starting with the 50 miler. I recently sold my subway carrera and got a dawes discovery 501. It is a world away from any trhing i have had before and is very nice. the furthest i have ridden is 29 miles which was last summer.

Welcome - in my opinion, the Dales are God's own country. Great cycling!!
