Happened today apparently.

I'd like to see that in slo mo. looks like the bus was in the bike lane. Odd how the lane kept curving in and out. Hope the guy was ok.

Wonder if the driver ever ended up being found out about it.

I'd assume it's just following the edge of the road. Bit weird but that's the only reason I can see.

Don't think it happened today, when it was uploaded to youtube back in December; scary stuff though and thank goodness they seemed to get up fast. It goes to show you the fallacy of using poorly designed cycle lanes.

Did the cyclist have any lights on?

Yes, you can see his front light lighting up the white stripe on the road in the dark sections.

Looks like the driver of the bus has not been following the lie of the road and cycle lane, and as a result a collision has occured.

What a legend - gets up and tries to just carry on cycling!

He should sue
