My first road bike in 30 years

Discussion in 'Beginners' started by Graham1426, 19 Feb 2012.

  1. Been MTB for a number of years, but fancied dipping my toes into the world of road bikes as i have decided to begin commuting to work, and wanted something that would be suitable for long weekend rides.

I had on order a Cube Agree GTC, and picked her up yesterday ^_^ i just love it

  5. Thanks for the comments guys, yes I choose the "triple" option cuz im old skool lol

I have very good secure bike storage at work but will be still using gold std d-lock too. I will only be using this bike in dry weather, here's hoping for a very long dry spring and summer.

Just love the feel and look of the bike, and defo lighter than my MTB coming in at just under 8.5 kg feels like I'm flying lol.

That is a lovely looking bike! If that saddle's adjusted for you, it's going to be very different to ride from the MTB.

I may have just made a mess in my pants...

In all seriousness it looks a great bike and seems like a decent deal. Coincidentally I have been looking at it for my first major (for me) purchase in the bike world a good 6-9 months down the line so would be good to hear how you get on with it.
