Cheapest 5 mile commuting bike(on flat roads)thats any good?

    For Decathlon good, cheap and geared how about this for £150?

    If I were in the OP's shoes I would probably go for this for £130, but it is SS. Advantage is he can take it with him pretty much anywhere, and he might be able to travel lighter since a heavy, expensive lock may not become necessary.

    Bought my wife the B'Twin Original 5 for christmas and she has had plenty of fun riding the Trans Pennine Trail on it. Sturdy bit of kit so far. . . I agree that it looks odd though :smile:

  1. I believe the 3 speed roadster is a fantastic option for the flatter commute . We Americans would have been lost in Schwinnland were it not for the Raleigh Sports and Phillips you so kindly sent our way .
